Learning English 1
The objective of this course is to help both teachers and students focus on imparting and acquiring the concepts and skills being taught. Picture flashcards, vocabulary cards, stories, songs, role plays, puzzles, and question and answer sessions cater to a wide variety of learning styles. Children practice skills and concepts in ways that make learning fun and interactive. Additional worksheets are also provided which act as useful classroom tools to provide further practice and help students become active English-language learners.
Draw a large rough sketch of a house on the board. Write beneath in
bold letters, “This is my house.” Students must now name the family members who live with them. Write down
the relations on the board. Family members might include:
- mother - father - brother - sister
- grandmother - grandfather - aunt - uncle
to talk about each family member in the photograph.
Collect some objects of common use. Pick up and name the object.
